چکیده
Increased energy source demand has been the current driver of Malaysia’s economic growth. Renewable is therefore included in policy to diversify its resources. With 77% land directed for agriculture – particularly palm oil plantation, biomass from industries thus considered as a viable resource. In addition 18.56 million hectares tropical forest contributed substantial wood waste logging activity. Through gasification, these resources can produce syngas. This paper aims demonstrate potential kernel shells (PKS) and (WW) generate syngas using downdraft fixed bed gasifier, which suitable oxidation zone temperature support production. Results showed that PKS WW consisted 94.93% 97.92% carbon monoxide (CO) respectively with low hydrogen (H2) gas contents. The lower heating values (LHV) are 10.68 MJ/kg 10.26 MJ/kg, respectively. It be concluded agricultural wastes such had shown high become an alternative form

Biodiesel fuel production from soybean oil waste as agricultural bio-resource
The study was conducted to investigate the optimum conditions for biodiesel formation from pure (virgin) soybean cooking oil (PSCO) and waste soybean cooking oil (WSCO) coming after alkaline transesterification process in combination with methanol, ethanol and 1-butanol. Some important variables such as volumetric ratio, types of reactants and catalytic activities were selected to obtain a high...
متن کاملUtilization of Dry Calcium Based Flue Gas Desulfurization Waste as a Hazardous Waste Fixation Agent
includes materials such as waste oil, solvents, and some boiler cleaning fluids which have a heating value. There is at least one boilcleaning product that has a positive heating value. During the boiler cleaning process, the fluid is collected in a temporary storage tank, after the cleaning process is completed it is reinjected into the boiler as essentially an additional heat input to the boi...
متن کاملLightweight Materials Obtained by Utilization of Agricultural Waste
Lightweight ceramic materials in the form of bricks and blocks are widely used in modern construction. They may be obtained by adding of rice husk, rye straw, etc, as porous forming materials. Rice husk is a major by-product of the rice milling industry. Its utilization as a valuable product has always been a problem. Various technologies for utilization of rice husk through biological and ther...
متن کاملResearch and Assessment of Applying Dimethyl Ether “DME” Extracted from Natural Gas “Ng”, on Diesel Engine as a Clean Fuel (TECHNICAL NOTE)
Due to the shortage of liquid hydrocarbon fuels for compression ignition engines, researchers have constantly been looking for alternative fuels. Recently, dim ethyl ether (DME) with its interesting properties, such as high cetane number and low exhaust emission has drawn a lot of interst as a suitable fuel for diesel engines. The main objective of this study was to assess the potentials and fe...
متن کاملProduction of Silica Nanoparticles from Rice Husk as Agricultural Waste by Environmental Friendly Technique
Extensive application of silica nanoparticles (SNPs) in various industrial products has led to the development of silica extraction methodologies out of various waste products. Rice husk is an agricultural waste with a high content of amorphous silica. However, the presence of metal ion impurities and unburned carbon in the rice husk content may present an adverse effect on product color and pu...
